WATCH: Sordo's Italy hopes dashed by Friday morning roll

Dani Sordo's hopes of achieving a third Rally Italia Sardegna victory were dashed on Friday morning when the Spaniard overshot a left-hander, rolling his Hyundai down an embankment in Monte Lerno. Despite continuing, Sordo and co-driver Cándido Carrera plummeted down the leaderboard after dropping more than three minutes.

Sébastien Ogier showed his rivals a clean pair of heels with a dominant drive on Friday morning at Rally Italia Sardegna.
